1994 - Toonen v. Australia case brought before the UN Human Rights Committee forces recognition of discrimination of individuals based on sexual orientation to be an international human rights violation.

National Gift- $500

June 26, 2015 - Cincinnatian Jim Obergefell wins supreme court case Obergefell v. Hodges, opening the door for federal marriage equality.

​June 29, 2023 - The Ohio Fairness Act makes its 12th appearance in the Ohio Legislature in an attempt to end discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. The OFA has not yet had a hearing at the state level.

March 22, 2005 - Federal Court upholds District Court ruling siding with trans Cincinnati police veteran over discrimination lawsuit.

County Backing- $50

October 5, 1990 - Hamilton County jury acquits Dennis Barrie from obscenity charges over photographer Robert Mapplethorpe's Contemporary Arts Center installation.

City Contribution- $25

March 15, 2006 - Cincinnati City Council adds protections for LGBTQ folks in regards to employment and housing in the city.
